Garden Coaching for the Eco-Anxious

There’s a lot to be worried about when it comes to the health of our planet, but there’s good news:

Making positive environmental change starts in your backyard

You can grow a garden that’s both good for you and good for the environment this year.
Breezy Garden Co is here to help you make it happen through tried-and-true consultations, plans, and coaching. We are passionate about sharing our skills and experience with backyard gardeners like you: gardeners who want to make a difference but don’t know where to start. We know the more of us who garden, the better off our planet will be.

Our Core Principles

A native garden in full bloom that includes coneflowers, heliopsis, and nodding onion

Grow Natives

We cultivate small ecological gardens that are both beautiful and environmentally-friendly with PA local plants. We make the complex world of native plants approachable and easy to implement so you can do your part to support local wildlife in a time of significant habitat loss.

Work with Nature

We understand the environment and respect the land upon which we grow. We work with the conditions unique to your home, prioritize sustainable materials, and choose plants that match the conditions so your garden is set up for success.

Grow Food

We build in-ground and raised bed vegetable gardens that are full of the fresh foods you love eating and are easy to maintain. We make growing and experimenting with food fun for year-after-year harvests that nourish you and your family.

Small gardens are our specialty!

We’re not asking you to make sweeping changes to your entire property. We’re asking you to start with a single spot in your yard.

A successful garden starts one phase at a time. This is how we transformed our entire property from an ocean of lawn into a mosaic of functional, ecological, and edible gardens. And it’s the approach we take with our clients too.

There are a multitude of benefits to starting small:

  • Starting small helps you focus on building your skills in the garden, rather than trying to manage too many new spaces all at once.

  • Starting small lets you experiment with plants and learn what you like and what works for your space before committing to a large scale planting (and large scale investment).

  • Starting small gives you more time and flexibility to change your mind.

As your gardening knowledge and experience grow, the size of your garden can grow with you.

A successful garden starts with a good game plan. Let’s make one together.

Lawns are dead. Nature is begging you to grow something different.
