About Us
Christina
Christina is the primary planner and plant whisperer of Breezy Garden Co! She started her career as a metallurgist and manufacturing process improvement engineer, but transitioned out of the industry after realizing she loved plants more than she loved metals. Now she uses her process improvement skills, consulting experience, and extensive plant knowledge to help new gardeners plan and grow a garden full of plants that thrive.
Christina is always seeking out new gardening knowledge. She has completed the Ecological Gardener Training Program through Horn Farm in York Country and the Permaculture Design Course through Oregon State University. She is currently working to complete the Ecological Gardening Certificate through Mt. Cuba Center.
John
John is the doer of the Breezy Garden Co duo! He’s been building and fixing things all his life, and now turns that experience into building functional and beautiful structures for us and the Breezy Garden Co clients. Across the many phases of his career—marine biology, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and quality management—John is always the one committed to helping his coworkers, cutting through the clutter, and getting the important work done right.
John loves being in the garden and building in the garden. John can often be found researching the next construction project or working on the latest woodworking project that has him excited. He plans to pursue certification as a Master Naturalist in the fall of 2026, getting back to his “roots” as an ecologically focused biologist.
Bailey
Bailey is our beloved rescue pup who lives for gardening season just as much as we do! She is the taste-tester to many of the fruits and veg we grow each season (don’t you dare pick a carrot without giving her a piece!) and is always there to supervise the latest projects we’ve got going on in the garden.
While she won’t be making the trips we take to your garden, know that she’s cheering you on and hoping you share your bounty with others!
